 Simply hilarious. 

I feared this day more than Armageddon itself.  The day Heidi Montag’s music video for “Higher” hit the internet.  Why?  Because it’s equally disastrous yet - unfortunately - we’re still here to witness it.  After the boob enhancement and nose job, you knew stardom was next on Montag’s to-do list.  You were just praying the end of the world would come sooner.  Somebody should have told her that just because The Hills aired on Mtv, a singing career isn’t the logical next step.  If the show had aired on Fox would that have given her the right to run out and become a GOP strategist?  I think not!

Her awkward poses, rhythmless dancing, and hellish vocals make Paris Hilton look like a Grammy winner.  Here it is, the video that I’m pretty sure her boyfriend, Spencer Pratt, filmed with his camera phone.

I had no idea that Heath Ledger’s talents extended into the music business.  The Australian actor joined forces with Ben Harper to create the record label Music Masses Co. and in 2006 directed this video for “Morning Yearning,” a song off of Harper’s album entitled Both Sides of the Gun. It was the first of three music videos directed by Ledger.  Truth be told, I haven’t listened to Ben Harper since my junior year in college when Fight for Your Mind took up permanent residence in my 3-disk cd changer boombox, but watching this video in the wake of the actor’s sudden death made me once again appreciate the melancholic songwriter: and of course gain some insight into the diverse nature of the actor’s talents.

For those that don’t remember, Bo Bice was the American Idol runner-up the year Carrie Underwood took the crown - and God couldn’t have gotten it more right. Here is Bo Bice doing his very best impression of Lenny Kravitz.  And no, it’s not a cover song.  The single was written by Bice - so what if he wrote it at a Lenny Kravitz concert while “Are You Gonna Go My Way” was ringing through his eardrum.  Grow some Alanis Morissette-length hair and throw on some hippy dippy clothes and no one will be able to tell, right? Wrong.  Watch his new video for the single “Witness.”

This little video has caused a ripple of gossip across the internet, but now we have confirmation that it’s not what everyone thought it was.  Amy Winehouse did not snort an illegal substance off of her shirtsleeve at her last concert in plain site for all to see (that kind of unruly behavior only happens backstage).  Here is the questionable clip:

It turns out she was merely wiping her nose, a common gesture that one would make when suffering from a regular case of the sniffles.  Given her ongoing struggles with drugs and alcohol, it would be easy to assume otherwise, but this next video pretty much confirms the whole cold theory.  She so clearly wipes her nose with a kleenex right before she sits down to take a sip of water.  Mid song, of course.  The Rehab singer, who’s husband is currently in Prison for conspiracy to fix a trial, was booed offstage in Birmingham this Wednesday as a result of her sloppy, seemingly-drunk performance.

Even though this is close to a year old, I find that it just keeps getting funnier with every viewing.  MAD TV’s Nicole Parker puts on a disturbing fake chest and imitates James Blunt in this hilarious parody of his “You’re Beautiful” video.  It’s so much more effective after witnessing the original so if you’ve never seen it then suffer through this first.  It’ll be so worth it.

Avril Levigne has teamed up with 17 year old Brooklyn rapper, Lil Mama, to remake her latest single ‘Girlfriend’, which you can see right here in this funny little video that looks like it was shot in 1992.  All the graffiti, pink mustang shots, and chick rappers will make you nostalgic for your old salt ‘n peppa tapes.  Well, maybe.  Regardless, it’s so fun to watch Avril play pretend guitar…check it out.
