You’ve heard it a million times on that iPod commercial and it’s actually pretty decent for a Coldplay song. I might add that it’s also quite radio friendly. Viva La Vida represents a pleasant divergence from the monotony of the stuff on their previous albums, but for all you people out there that think Coldplay is the next U2, just hold that thought. Until we see something even remotely ressembling The Joshua Tree, let’s just call it what it is: perfectly acceptable, yet perfectly average pop rock.
